If your workflow goes beyond a desktop environment, you can extend your setup:
A MaxCloudON Cloud Desktop PC is a high-performance virtualized Windows or Linux workstation that runs on fully reserved, unthrottled cloud resources. Accessible remotely over the internet from anywhere in the world, it provides a full desktop environment engineered for demanding interactive workloads like 3D modeling, VFX editing, software development, and AI engineering.
You connect securely through the MaxCloudON VPN. For Windows environments, you can use the standard Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). For Linux environments, you can connect via SSH or any compatible remote-desktop streaming tool.
Connection Tip: For a highly responsive, low-latency interactive experience, we recommend a stable internet connection with at least 15 to 20 Mbps download speed and a ping under 50ms to our data centers. A wired Ethernet connection is highly recommended over Wi-Fi.
Yes. Windows Cloud Desktop plans include full Administrator privileges, and Linux plans include full Root access. You have absolute control over the operating system environment.
You can choose your preferred OS configuration upon deployment and freely install your own professional applications, custom development tools, render engines, AI frameworks, specialized plugins, and proprietary scripts. We operate on a Bring Your Own License (BYOL) model, meaning you are responsible for your own application licensing and software updates.
Yes. Cloud Desktop PCs are instantly provisioned using predefined high-performance resource tiers. If your project demands grow, you can easily scale up by transitioning your environment to a higher available tier or by activating additional cloud desktops. For unique, long-term enterprise pipeline requirements, custom hardware configurations are also available upon request.
Security is built directly into our infrastructure. External access is strictly protected via encrypted VPN tunnels and end-to-end encrypted remote-access protocols (RDP or SSH). Furthermore, every Cloud Desktop runs in a completely isolated private virtual environment with dedicated, non-shared hardware resources, ensuring your active projects and data are completely protected from other users.
We provide true 24/7 human-only support – no chatbots. Our team is available around the clock to assist you with initial provisioning, VPN connectivity setup, remote access configuration, and any infrastructure-related hardware issues.
Please note that because you receive full root/admin control, customers remain responsible for installing, configuring, licensing, and administering their individual applications and project data unless a separate managed service agreement is in place.
Yes. If you choose to cancel within the first 14 days of your subscription, we will fully refund the unused portion of your plan. For monthly subscriptions, your refund is calculated transparently based on a fair daily rate derived from our standard weekly pricing, ensuring you only pay for the exact days the infrastructure was reserved for you.
